What if you combined It's a Wonderful Life, and Topper with The Sopranos...? This sentimental romantic comedy, set in bucolic southern Florida, tells the story of three couples and answers the question 'Can true love conquer all - whether you're young, old or dead? The couples, one young, one old and one dead, have their lives - and afterlives - collide in a heartwarming tale with various levels of comedy, including satire, physical shtick, and over 75 hidden film references. It's truly a story made in heaven.
        The story will appeal to a wide audience and will surely receive a PG-13 rating. We also hope to obtain the Dove Foundation seal of approval as a family-friendly film. Casting director Ellen Jacoby - with more than 20 years in the film industry, feels the script will attract to many 'name' actors.
        During the refinement of the screenplay we had encouragement and guidance from the development departments of Tom Hanks' company, Playtone, and Dustin Hoffman's company, Punch Productions. Jennifer Ogden, producer on more than 14 major films, claimed it was one the best scripts she has read in years (read the quotes below).
        Pre-production and principal photography will occur in southern Florida; Post-production will occur in Manhattan. The target maximum budget is $5 million (US); six weeks of pre-production, six-seven weeks of production, 15 weeks of post-production. The project will be photographed using the latest digital camera system.
