Allan has over two decades of experience in film and video postproduction, distribution and technical services. He has held key management positions at The Walt Disney Company, DreamWorks SKG, Turner Broadcasting, THX Ltd. and other prestigious companies. He was the Hollywood Section Chair for the Society of Motion Picture and Television Engineers (SMPTE), and is the Annual Conference Sponsorship Chair.
