Musical Supervision
Darice is the CEO and founder of Synapse Publishing & Entertainment, LLC and is proud to be part of the Megaball$ team in the role of Music Supervisor. Darice has been a performer, dancer, innovator, musician, speaker, award winning author and entrepreneur creating multiple international businesses and developing software over the past 35+ years. Synapse Publishing & Entertainment creates and provides original music compositions and lyrics with staff songwriters as well as partners and coordinates with multiple artists, producers, arrangers, and publishing licensors across genres in a boutique fashion to fit the vision of each individual project.
From serving on theatre boards, to raising money for sponsorship for many not-for-profit organizations to providing original musical content for various full-length films (most recently Heavens2Betsy2 – nominee at the 2019 International Christian Film Festival for Best Screenplay), theatre, and other commercial ventures, Darice brings a level of professionalism, enthusiasm, strategic acumen, management skills, integrity and a sense of humor to creative projects she is involved in. She is currently a member of NSA, NSA-IL, AIMP, NSAI, NMPA and other professional organizations.
Synapse Publishing & Entertainment prides itself on not only its development and support of talent, but on its catalog and extended support and access to writers and performers at all levels. Its unique expert level roster of award winning music creators represents over 100 years of music industry experience and includes renowned writers such as PBS Songs at the Center and winner of Pepsi’s First Southern Original national winner, Andrew M. Salgado; and Adam Mackintosh, known most notably for his composition for Storm Large and Pink Martini, “Forbidden Fruit” which is performed regularly in the Great American Songbook performances by Symphony Orchestra, worldwide. Key partners in co- writing with these songwriters include such talent as Kacey Musgraves, Jackson Browne, Brian Wilson, Jim ‘Moose’ Brown, Darry Worley, James Hall, Kirsti Manna, Pat MacDonald and others.
